SATYEN RAJA

Since boyhood, Satyen has pursued mastery on two parallel tracks simultaneously.

The first was the path of spirit. The path was arduous, deliberate, and uncompromising. Satyen had no interest in ordinary teachers. He sought out the crazy wisdom masters — those at the absolute top of their domains who demanded everything and gave nothing ordinary in return.

His path of mastery began at age twelve through formal training in the Shaolin Kung Fu tradition, studying the warrior arts as an integrated discipline of body, mind, and spirit. His martial arts tutelage was an apprenticeship under masters who pushed him to and beyond the edge of known capacity, leading to his Black Sash and continuing today through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where he holds the rank of Purple Belt.

In 1986, Satyen founded Beyond Kung Fu Studios in Brampton, Ontario — a martial arts school that continues to thrive today under black belts he personally trained, representing the earliest expression of a life devoted to awakening human potential through lived practice.

His spiritual teachers put him through tests and tribulations that most seekers would never willingly enter. His tantric masters were world-famous authors and profound yogic masters of the highest order, including direct study under David Deida in sacred partnership and polarity work. In his early twenties he was initiated onto the path of the Enlightenment Intensive and into Sahaj, the path of kundalini natural yoga — where the arising of yoga is not forced through will but surrendered to, allowing the sacred to move spontaneously through the being. He has walked that path ever since, personally guiding more than 10,000 individuals into direct experiential realization of their true nature and the nature of life itself.

He has sat in countless meditation and enlightenment retreats. He and Suzanne have sat together in many ceremonies, going deep as partners on the path. He has studied under non-dual masters of the highest order, metaphysical teachers, and lineage holders both well-known and hidden from public view. Not one or two teachers. Many. A lineage woven from many rivers.

From adolescence onward, he immersed himself in Eastern and Western healing traditions and wisdom lineages. His shamanic initiation began in his early twenties, initiating more than four decades of ceremonial and transformational work across physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual, and subtle healing modalities. Over this time he has trained extensively and holds numerous certifications spanning diverse healing and transformational disciplines, including Licensed Acupuncturist (1987), Certified Shiatsu Therapist (1986), Certified Hypnotherapist (1997, American Board of Hypnotherapy), and NLP Practitioner (1988).

He sought out the top masters in martial arts, Tantra, shamanism, reality creation, metaphysics, wisdom traditions, enlightenment, and self-realization. Across decades and continents, he studied directly under those considered the finest in their domains. He is recognized as a lay scholar in comparative religion, spiritual philosophy, and the full spectrum of human consciousness traditions.

Long before the contemporary resurgence of consciousness work, Satyen became a pioneer in applied consciousness methodologies — including the responsible transformational use of psychedelic and plant medicine–based practices approached with rigor, ethics, and integration.

The second was the path of business. Born into a family of East Indian Gujarati descent, his parents were immigrant entrepreneurs who built their lives and livelihoods from Uganda to England to Canada through generations of commerce. His father came from a long lineage of businesspeople. From early in his life, Satyen was immersed in the brass tacks of real business — not from schools or theory, but from firsthand experience across import and export, film distribution, and a large restaurant.

As a young man, drawing on his deep background in Ericksonian hypnotherapy, NLP, and NLP New Code, Satyen acquired the rights to bring Positive Changes Hypnosis to Canada and built it into a franchise of ten locations nationwide, three of which were owned by him and his family. At its peak, these centres served thousands of people across their local communities in stress reduction, weight loss, smoking cessation, anxiety, and mental health. Many of those locations operated for close to 25 years. He also became a franchisee in a martial arts school chain during his earlier years. Having lived both sides of the franchising relationship — as franchisee and as franchisor — he carries an intimate, hard-earned understanding of everything that model demands and delivers. Later he moved into real estate investing and investing in positive impact companies.

From those years emerged something rare: a man equally fluent in the language of the soul and the language of enterprise.

Satyen is the Founder of WarriorSage, one of North America's longest-standing transformational leadership organizations, and creator of the WarriorSage philosophy — integrating strong spine and open heart into mature leadership. Through WarriorSage, he initiated men's leadership movements around the world, guiding thousands of men beyond earlier models of masculinity defined either by strength without heart or sensitivity without grounded power. These initiatory pathways evolved into the League of the Warrior Sage, developed alongside his wife Suzanne, who led reciprocal initiatory work supporting women into embodied leadership and relational sovereignty.

Satyen is also the Founder of Accelerated Evolution Academy, an advanced training institution preparing practitioners, physicians, therapists, coaches, healers, transformational guides, group facilitators, and seminar leaders in powerful methodologies designed to resolve humanity's deepest challenges at their root — creating lasting identity-level transformation rather than temporary peak states. Across seminars, leadership trainings, retreats, and organizational engagements worldwide, Satyen has impacted well over 100,000 individuals through live, in-person work, with many more reached globally through practitioner trainings, educational programs, and media platforms.

In recent years, he has served as curator and organizer of Wisdom Keepers — a global gathering where wisdom elders and experienced leaders from diverse disciplines convene to share distilled, actionable insight, echoing ancient traditions in which warriors sought counsel from elders. These teachings are being translated into published works intended to serve humanity.

Satyen serves as Canadian Coordinator for the International Institute of Peace Studies and Global Philosophy (IIPSGP) — a globally respected academic and activist body working at the intersection of rigorous scholarship, activist courage, and comparative philosophy. His work with the Institute reflects a lifelong conviction: genuine peace is not a political project but a civilizational awakening — one requiring the full force of education, embodied wisdom, and ideas that change the world.

Satyen's martial arts training forged in him the ability to see the fewest moves required for maximum impact — to find the path of least resistance and greatest leverage in any situation. He has brought this directly into his advisory work with companies and leaders of all sizes, clarifying vision, mission, and strategy in ways that simplify the entire game, unify teams, and align organizations around a core inspiring mission sourced from the collective centre of the leadership itself.

What Satyen carries is one of the rarest combinations in the world: deep metaphysical and spiritual mastery translated directly into business. Omni-win principles. Alongside his professional work, Satyen shares a devoted partnership with his wife Suzanne of thirty-eight years. Together they embody and teach Tantra as evolutionary relationship — conscious, passionate partnership integrating intimacy, devotion, growth, and awakening. Together they have raised two children, now conscious and thriving young adults.
